Finally... someone setting a record that's not named Barry
Mike Piazza broke Carlton Fisk's HR record for catchers yesterday. I think it's good that he got it, he's a good player. I like him, unlike the aforementioned Barry Bonds.

Also gotta give props to the "Rocket", Roger Clemens.
He moved up to #2 all time on the strikeouts list. The guy is 6-0 pitching at the Juice Box (Minute Maid Park). He was supposed to be retired, and now he might be the best pitcher in the league at the moment.
Is that HR record the only reason that Piazza is still playing catcher? You hear about the possibility of him changing positions all the time, but it never happens.
Lol. He plays some first base too. Yeah but I think he still plays catcher because he's just naturally good at it.
And Roger is doing great too. He's killing 'em in the NL.

Piazza is a true warrior, playing probably the hardest postion to play in baseball, my hats off to Clemens as well, its hard to believe that he might possibly win the CY Young in the NL this year
A little too soon to tell if Clemens is getting it right now...
And I have to agree that catcher is probably the hardest position in baseball. Also, first base is difficult. Everyone assumes we'll catch that ball down there, even if it is in the dirt. WELL THROW IT TO MY FREAKIN MITT! Lol, didn't mean for that to happen. Oh well, ItalianStallion has spoken.
