This is the thread I'll use to talk about my baseball team. As a matter of fact, we are the Yankees, so my title's not too far off. But, it looks like I'm gonna be the first baseman this year and one of the only power hitters on this team. Even though this kid with a mullet keeps trying to play first, he.... well, he sucks. The only bad part about our team is that coach is going to do an alphabetical batting order until the play-offs. My last name starts with an S, and that just happens to be second to last. Stupid California mind-set, doesn't want to piss anyone off. Maybe it's because he wants his son to bad 2nd, I don't know. But I just hope we do well this year.

Okay, we just played a practice game type thing, and I have to say, this year isn't gonna be so bad. Don't get me wrong, we're still pretty bad, but we're looking better than my team last year. I get to play first base because, I told you guys, I'm 6'1 in the eighth grade, I've got an advantage when it comes to stretching. I also batted fourth in this game.
Their first pitcher was killer, he struck me out, but his coach was umpiring so I got a strike that was BS, but I'll take it like a man. My second at bat I hit a little dribbler because I swung over it, but my intense speed got me on first. That and the fact that I plowed the first baseman down. ****, that's what happens when you play fullback right? I think I hurt him though, so I feel kinda bad. But, my stats looked like this:
1-2, 1 K, 1 1B.
I'm just getting warmed up though people, so stay with me.

Ha. Okay, maybe it's not so intense, but if I can make it down there that fast it's gotta be pretty quick doesn't it?
And HocChe, I know it's his fault. He's lucky he was a freshman and about my size. If he had been any smaller he wouldn't have been able to take that hit. I play first base myself, I'm glad I taught that kid to play farther over on plays like that.

Sorry, forgot about that. Yeah we lost that game barely, I went 1-2 in that game with a single. I also had 2 SB in that one baserunning escapade. I scored on it too. We played the same team on our first game, and we got spanked. I got walked my first AB and my second I hit a deep fly to centerfield. Little a-holes played so deep they caught it. I hate that. 0-1 in that game, but I had some awesome fielding plays. I made two sliding catches and some awesome stretches, but our team still got spanked 15-3 (I know that's pathetic). I also realized that our third baseman sucks. He let like 6 runs score on his errors. Oh well, maybe we'll do better tonight in our next game.
