Wow, he did it. Barry Bonds hit home run number 660 to tie Willie Mays for third on the all-time home run list. That was amazing, but I think it's a bit overblown. Everyone's talking about this and then Hammerin' Hank, well he's still 95 away. What do you all think?

Well, thats what HocChe thinks  I think Home runs are great, in fact they are the only exciting part of baseball as far as I'm concerned the more they hit the better..

That's just terrible. You don't think it degrades the game at all that pure hitters that didn't use steroids can have their records crushed by guys that cheat to get there?

ok IS is down 3-1...gotta make it 3-2. i really do hate it when a player with not much power can jack 20 in a season...seriously we should have one record book before 1970 one after...to seperate the eras... |

Don't know where HocChe got any 3-1 stuff or whatever, but how can you say Babe Ruth sucks, phatboy? Baseball is the game that it is now (or at least the good part) because of him, he popularized it, he rewrote the record books. People came to the ball park just to see him. He is one of the top 3 baseball players EVER to play the game. Now shut up.

IS, you know my stance on this. I totally disagree on any record breakers that may be tainted by added pleasures that players in the past did not have. The new record should definately have an asterik (*).
