do you think taylor beat hopkins in either of the 2 fights, and do you think he will beat Winky?
Yes, I had him as the winner in both fights, and yes I think he'll beat Winky Wright as well. I don't, however, feel that Taylor will have near the career Hopkins did, unless he works on form and footwork. He has speed, now he needs to refine how he fights...
I love boxing in all forms. I like the UFC as a change of pace too..I know its totally different, but hey.
Ricky Hatton. Gotta say it, from down the road to me

Oh I know, same. 30-27? WTF? Forrest is one of, if not my favourite fighter. He beat him outright...The first round was not good enough for a 10-8 decision, and he definately won the second two..

And how lucky did Tim Sylvia get with his TKO...Andrei gave him the KO treatment, just got lucky he couldnt get to his head while he was down...Then threw a lucky punch as Arlowski was going forward himself, thus excentuating its power...

Quite a lot of fights arent PPVs here...Which is good, means I get to watch a fair amount. But the real good fights are PPV, which is lame, makes it so inaccessable.

Persoanlly I like Floyd Mayweather, Trinidad, etc. I don't like any heavyweights since its retardedly boring. The middleweights are were the fun is at. Despite rooting for De La Hoya I love to see Mayorga fight because he's a beast and a straight slugger. He makes every fight that much better.

Didnt start till about 3 o clock in the morning here, but it was worth it. Did anyone catch it? He knocked the guy out in 12 seconds in the first round, the guy got an 8 count but faught back well, he has really quick hands. It was obvious Ricky was struggling with the pace of Collazo's hands, and his Southpaw stance, getting caught a lot with the right hook.
Saying this, it was classic Ricky, always pressing the action, tho his workrate wasnt as high as it is when he is at light welter, it was still really high. But for my liking he didnt get off enough punches late. The early knockdown won him the fight.
He has signed a 3 fight deal with HBO so I think he will be fighting a couple of big names next. It was an action packed fight, Im so glad he won, cos he sure as hell cut it close.

If we are talking UFC my favorite guy has to be Chuck Liddell. He is a straight up moster. In boxing though my favorite of all time was the G.O.A.T. Muhammad Ali. Swagger, style, and the punch to back it up. The rope-a-dope was the best invention in boxing technique in a long time, to bad it made his career decline more rapidly than it should have.

Yeah i saw it, but lets be honest the knockout was more of some luck it was a well placed punch with him off balance from ducking under and going back at him. Personally Hatton wasn't impressive at all. He barely won the fight due to athe 2pt 1st round. He was all beat up and Collazo had no damage at all. All though punch stats wise Hatton won, power shot wise, ehhh.
Plus hatton was a few seconds away from getting knocked out in the 12. Still the way they scored it on the scorecard he would of won anyway jusat not by unanimous decision.

Yeah, I know that wasnt Hatton at his best...Its true. Yeah the punch caught him off balance, but he still took the full 8 to actually carry on...He can pretend he wasnt rocked all he wants, but he was, cos he then continued to get beat down for the remainder of that round.
I think it opened Ricky's eyes, cos he absolutely dominated light welter, that these bigger guys at welter are gonna take more bullying. He didnt have an answer to Collazo's speed, but he definately won the fight, and was the guy pressing it. Had he not pressed it, we would have been looking at a boring fight, but everytime it got broken up he moved right back in, even when obviously gassed.
Yeah, ghs, I love Chuck Lidell too. Him and Forrest. I like Arlowski too, Silvia got lucky to beat him..
