This game is a Super Nintendo classic and probably my favorite game of all time. But I still have some questions on it that I'm not quite sure on. First of all, there are a few players in the game without names. My question is why, and who are they. First is that Marcus Allen is not in the game for either the Raiders or the Cheifs, now if memory serves me right, he had not yet retired in the 1993 season, so I figured he would be in the game comewhere. Second, is the starting quarterback for the Cheifs. His name in the game is QB Cheifs. My initial thought is thats Joe Montana, but I'm not sure on that fact since Marcus Allen was left out of the game, maybe so was he. And then, the quarterback for the vikings, known as QB Vikings. I belive this is Jim Mcmahan (paren my spelling) but again, there is no way to be posative, anyone with the exact answer, that would be a long lasting question I'd love to have answered.
that's normally the case with older games like that, was that they weren't under contract. If it's 1993, then it actually covers the '92 season and Montana was still with the 49ers that year.
Allen was wirth the Raiders for the '92 season....and the Qb for the Vikings was....Rich Gannon
naw man, steve bono was the back up for steve young in that tecmo superbowl. Before madden, there was tecmo super bowl. where you could throw a 100yrd. from one endzone, to the other. with ease.
yeah, and we would have asked you more questions to prove it. LOL

For Madden people the best way to explain it is that he has a very low awareness.
