Created by Texas-based Gearbox Software, Brothers in Arms aims to be one of the most realistic and authentic World War II shooters ever. Based on a true story, the game puts players in the role of Sgt. Matt Baker, a D-Day paratrooper squad leader as he leads the squad through the European campaign. Each battlefield has been meticulously recreated from aerial reconnaissance images, US Army Signal Corps photos and eye-witness accounts of war-torn Normandy. Also available for Xbox and PC.
Man, I am a Military historian I guess you could say, so any strategy game that throws you into World War II, realistically, gets thumbs up from me! I have played Call of Duty and I personally think that is better than Medal of Honor. Of course I love MOH... the music... the history... the realism... I have the very first, Allied Assault, along with the two expansions... Spearhead and Breakthrough... not to mention the two on the Gamecube, Frontline and Rising Sun.
One of the better console war games I have played was Conflict: Operation Desert Storm I and II. That was great on the 'Cube.
