Some updated news
I have done another season taking the As to teh second round of the playoff knocking out the Yanks but then be upsetted by the Redsox. Dimondbacks went on to win the series.
We are now entereing the Third season of my Gm Career and im happy to say the As are glad to have me My GM rating have been brought up to a B+ thanks to the As.
My starting pitching line up for the 2007 season was as Follows
Barry Zito
Tim Hudson
Carl Pavano
Brad Radke
and
Byun-kim
And we ended up going 70-92. and didn't get wildcard
Dont worry guys im not saving it just want to see if i was good and the future ill keep you updated with the Mets when i get back from Baseba;ll practice (which might get called off due to the rain

Okay some news on the ever growing Mets
After 60 days it loks liek teh mets may be wildcard contentions.
Right now the New York Mets are 1.5 games behind the National Leagu wildcard leaders the Los Angeles Dodgers and are in third place in the NL east behind Florida and Philly but ahead of Atlanta and Washington.
We are currently 5.0 games behind the Phillys so if we want the division title looks like we ahve some work to do.
The Mets Current Record after 60 days is 33-27. After a few minors trade maybe this team can actualy be something even though they are ranked 13 on the power Rankins

woo baby 30 games later and the met Move up to Seonc place in the NL East!
even thought they are 8 games back we still hold some hope for the future!
they are also 3.5 games back from teh NL wild card still which the Dodgers are still holding within there grasp so all i can say is Come on Mets we can do it!

Just played my first game in this Career against the braves Esteban Loaiza was just on FIRE i mean hes going 4-9 this season but he just rocked out this game 2 K's in the first two innings (nothing too special) But 2 double plays and its a good thing he was doing so good too cause these Mets just could not hit a thing 1 grounded into a double play and another pop flied out *sigh*. but then i pitched the Wrong pitch in the top of the third and it was GONE 456 feet so braves were up 1-0 in the second. so the botom of the second comes around and Mike pizza gets a hit! finally but then the next batter strikes out.
Now we are headed to the Third. THey go down 123 but we wouldn't go down without a fightafter 2 straight hits Arabia Matui come to the plate and hits a pop fly scoring one so then its was 1-1 man on second 1 out a ground ball makes it two outs. Mike pizza steps up and ground out but that okay cause we scored

Braves - 1 out and Esteban give up another homer score 2-1 still one out and a two run homer Make that 4-1 time for Esteban to come out but of course i have to warm up the pitchers so he can stay in. There is where he gets his third strike out making it 2 outs let just hope he can get out of this jam. Booom ANOTHER strike out to end the inning. but boy 3 runs just sucks.
Mets -Our turn we start with a base hit. then three straight outs how pathetic

wellt he rest of the game was quite we homered in teh 5th and that was about it after loaiza came out we shut them down so that tells me somethin also tell me scott strickland (Long relief) that cam in after him is GOOD pitched 3 straight innings solidly then i brought my closer in to end the inning so eh im dissapointed =/
