Ok i started my dynasty off as the coach of the FIU Golden Bears or what ever they are but since i dont like to play the first few years when all there is..is #45 and such i chose to simulate till almost all of them were gone so i simulated my first 3 years which led me to getting fired by FIU so i picked up another 1a independent team the Flordia Atlantic Owls i then simulated the first season with them "mainly cause they had a senior qb and i like to start off fresh with a guy i recruited at qb" any ways turns out Flordia Atlantic isnt a very easy place to recruit for and the best i got for qb was Athlete Tank Hale who is 68 overall with 82 speed any ways i am already in the 10th week and here is what ive dont so far

Game Notes: I continue to question my self about Hale he just doesnt have the accuracy you need in a QB we will see how well he does in the next few games before we decide rather or not we will be looking for a new qb this offseason...Also since he has decent speed of course i try to run wit him some and we was about to score it was 2 and 17 "sacked on first down" and he ran about 15 yards until he got hit causing him to fumble and like always a opposing player jumped on the ball ending any chances of winning that we had
oh and my avg attendance raised for that game to 8,581!! to bad they all had to watch me lose
Rich Byrd finally came back from his injury, and he picked up where he left off getting over 100 yards receiving on the day and helping FAU to a 27-17 Victory over #7 NC State..........Coach Jass was asked about Byrd's peformance after the game he commented "It sure does feel good knowing we have a very good receiver back on the field. He performed well once again this week, and we suspect he will continue to do so the rest of the year enless of course he gets struck with another injury."

Yeah Hale does lack consistency, and i do beleive im going to go for a new QB when it comes time to recruit he could be a good player at some other position. I was kinda in a rush to finish the season so i forgot to write down all the box scores and every thing so here is how my last few games went...oh and thank you on the compliment about me beating NC STATE and Navy i just dont know i couldnt get anything going.. lol

so i finished the season 10-2 and fianlly in the top 25 being # 19 so all was good and stuff until after simulating the conferance games and finding out I DIDNT GET A BOWL BID! i was like WHAT 10-2!!? and there will be teams playing in bowls that went like 6-5 dont know what makes me un-deservering of a bowl bid but what ever now im off to do offseason ill post about my results

Well to start off the offseason my team the Flordia Atlantic Owls were invited to replace Central Michigan in the MAC conferance in 2009 thinking maybe this will get us more publicity and maybe make us have a better chance to get a bowl bid i gladly accepted
There will also be alot of work on my behalf trying to get a whole new Receiving core cause pretty much all of my receivers were seniors

thank you but wait i turned off my game on accident but its ok i did it again and i actually got invited to the Big East this time replacing Rutgers i went through off season and it really didnt go the way i hoped i got four 5 star guys but they were all defense and no QB at all so looks like Hale will be my qb again o well he raised to 72 over all and his accuracy got 2 better so hopefully hell do better i picked to play the team i replaced in week one so im going to go play that game then ill post and tell you all if i proved i deserved to be the one who replaced them........sorry if this post doesnt make since im just a bit tired alright lata
yes hopefully i will start the season later today but right now its football time so i gotta watch so i can see if my fantasy team will do ill update that on the 'my fantasy team' thread...btw i do like Tank Hale i think he may just take us to a bowl this year
Good luck in the new conference...I know some of those games against bad teams were extremely boring. Now you should get a lot of challenges and exciting games.
sorry i dont have stats or anything for the Rutgers game because i was just so pissed off by it right after the game i just ended it and didnt bother to write any of it down. I went into that game wanting to prove that i deserved to take there place but no sir i proved the exact opposite Hale was absolutly horrible im not even going to mention is passes complete and att but he threw 3 INTS and NO! TD i think you could guess what happened. I dont know what it is...is it because my offense sucks? or is it the fact i have 4 freshmen starting on defense?.....btw they are all highly rated all in atleast the 80's all were 5 stars any ways yeah im off to play FIU if u wanna know the final score it was a blowout

After an horrible first week coach Jass still had confidence in his whole team including his sophmore QB Tank Hale. Hale peformed well in the 2nd week completed 50 % of his passes and adding two touchdowns to his Season Stats. Although he wasnt lawless he did throw one INT but it didnt really hurt the owls.Other key peformers were Antonio Olsen the 5'8 176 lb Junior Halfback he rushed 21 times for 125 yards with two touchdowns, Dio Doss hauled in 6 receptions for 78 yards and a td. Also on the defensive side of the ball Ahmad Fisher had one INT and two tackles now on to the game stats

*my thoughts on the game* My defense played very well most of the time Hale stepped it up this week Olsen who didnt start last week but did this week did great winning him the starting job Collier still gets to have atleast 5-8 carries a game so when its his turn to start he will good win got our confidence up a little bit but it was only FIU but none the less it was a rivalry and winning it gets people excited....Although we are happy with the win we cant celebrate to long cause we have to get on the practice field and in film rooms we have a very tough game next week as we face #3 Kansas State...the game wich actually starts a 3 game span against really good teams...#3 Kansas State,#2 Oklahoma,and West Virginia wish me luck
Just got done with the Kansas State game i can say i am disgusted with my teams performance mainly HALE this sucks really bad cause its obvious he is not going to have a good season meaning i will not be getting any good new recruits at QB so im more then likely stuck with him until he graduates god i pray he just quits oh his performance in this weeks game 0 tds 4 INT woo hoo 20.3 QB rating looks like my back up Derrick Erwin who is 74 over all who came in for a few plays will Hale got injured and competed 1 pass 'out of two' so i dont know Olsen was also shut down but not his fault...3 carries for 4 yards Fagan had 3 rec for 51 yards umm yeah score at halftime was 38-0 Kansas state score at the end of the game....!!!! 44-7 o well i was stupid to think we could beat those guys....now its time for another beating by Oklahoma
i dont know i may have a chance cause they just barely beat Vandy 28-27 ...no probley not gots a bye week before the oklahoma game so hopefully it helps...Hale will be on the bench
Tough loss. I'm sorry bout Hale, but sometimes we just recruit busts. Trust me, I know. Especially quarterbacks who are supposed to be great but end up being moderate then leave after their Junior year because they think they can compete on the professional level. And then, to his dismay, he gets drafted in the 5th round as the very last quarterback in the draft. He then proceeds to suck horribly, soon to be ridiculed and released. Aaargh... SOME PEOPLE!

well Hale did not start against Oklahoma and we almost pulled it off losing by the final score 13-7 getting close numerous times....Zach Brooks was the qb for me that game he did pretty good..better then Hale lol he had 1 td two int's threw over 50 times...defense held strong not allowing any second half points Fisher my CB Fumbled on a Punt Return with 1:00 left after he brought it to Oklahomas 30 yard line. wich killed any chance we had....well tommorrow ill play the game against West Virgina who is now # 18 and 3-0 "im 1-3" ....its actually going to matter if i lose though because if i lose that gives me a conferance loss and i dont need that well off to bed school tommorrow later
Coming into the game the Flordia Atlantic Owls were 1-3 (0-0) and the West Virgina wolverines??? were 4-0 Ranked 18th the owls even after losing there last game moved up from 69 to 68 !!!! WOOO! lol. any ways it started off much like the Kansas State game did they scored 14 in the first 3 mins getting off to a 14-0 lead over us. As they were going for their 3rd touchdown of the quarter Freshman Linebacker Mclauren "who is also my highest rated player at 86 " any ways..He picked it off and ran about 68 yards for our first touchdown of the game out defense played tough the whole game only allowing one more touchdown. Junior Running back Olsen put in two scores of his own and Fitzpatrick kicked one threw the uprights which gave us the final score of 24-21 FAU!!! Brooks..the back up QB to well...no td's and a pair of INTS but he led us to victory and we are very proud of him next week..Pittsburgh ranked # 15 we are now ranked 60th this will be my second Conferance game and my 4th game in a role against a ranked opponent

Nothing wrong with All American. I played on that for the last two versions of NCAA and I lost games. Good win against the West Virginia Cavaliers... right? Did they change their name to the Wolverines?? That part threw me off. Good work nonetheless! Beat Pitt!
