IDK whether this is a good trade or not....Dampier gives the Mavs a center that they have badly needed but they are giving up alot to get him...idk what to think
BTW christian laettener can only be traded once ever 60 days so they are waiting for those 60 days are up....then the trade should be announced
Of course it's good for the Mavs, they didn't give much and got one of the best rebounders in the game.

1st rounders in basketball aren't the same as 1st rounders in football. Good trade for Dallas. I always like Dichau (maybe I just like saying his name ).

This is a good short-term trade for Dallas, but one day all this trading is going to catch up with Cuban. He'll be stuck with a lot of bad, untradeable contracts if he keeps it up. Look at what they have...
Not a bad looking team, but it puts a lot more pressure on Daniels and Howard. These guys were pleasant surprises last year, but now with more pressure on them they will HAVE to provide more. I really don't get the Stackhouse deal either (aside that they were trying to get Shaq), but it seems to me either he or Finley needs to be dealt. They'll have a good season, and having Dampier should get them out of the first round at least, but I think Steve Nash was the achilles heel of the offense and they won't be near as effective without him.

Lol... misread it. I thought it said a second rounder. The number 2 confuses me.
But, you'd have to be on drugs to give me that for Dante because, well, he's no leading rebounder.

I totally forgot about Terry, but he just adds to their collection of SG's IMO. He's not a true PG, so I really don't think he's going to put them over the edge.
