Anyone else been following the NBA Finals? After a crappy game 1, games 2 and 3 have been pretty great. Anyone think Orlando has a shot to win the series? People wrote them off after the first two games, but now they're only down 2-1 and it doesn't seem so impossible anymore. I hate Kobe, the Lakers, and their fans, so nothing would make me happier than seeing the Magic come back and win the series.
Well I watched games 2-3 And here is what I saw.. the Lakers played WAY below their potential in BOTH games two and three and the Magic played a little below their potential.
I don't think the Magic have a prayer it's probably going to be 4-2 win by the Lakers.. might even be 4-1.
Which is great because I am a Kobe fan, and he deserves another championship (without Shaq)

First off, an opinion cannot be wrong....its an OPINION
Ok, good. In my opinion, you're an idiot. Good thing I can't be wrong!

Yeah I think the only way the Magic have any sort of shot is if Dwight Howard wakes the hell up. There's no reason a player of his talent, size, and athleticism is averaging 16 points per game. If he can consistently play like he played in the last game of the Cavs series where he dropped 40, the Magic are pretty tough to beat. But he's too much of a goofball to consistently dominate like that, he doesn't have that killer instinct that a superstar has to have.
So it looks like Kobe can say hello to ring #4...ugh...
Surprise, surprise...Kobe elbows his way to victory once again. It's really sickening how much they let him get away with. That was assault and battery in like 47 states...
Eh they let everyone get away with it you just notice it more when its a guy you don't like doing it.. In game 3 there were a few times Magic players elbowed Lakers players right in the face.. nobody saw it..
Oh and kobes shot that was 'blocked' before OT.. His arm was CLEARLY HIT before the shot was blocked.. (by a different player) should have been a foul..
Thats basketball.. refs pick and choose what they call just like holding in the NFL. there are fouls ALL THE TIME.. most aren't called.

Yeah I guess...but it just seemed like a really calculated move to me, nailing Jameer and then immediately dishing it to the man he was guarding. And being a Suns fan I know Kobe is a notorious elbower...everyone does it, but he does it more than anyone.
But whatever, the Magic had a bajillion chances to win that game. All Dwight Howard had to do was sink ONE FREE THROW and he completely choked. And Jameer Nelson stupidly let Fisher shoot a wide open 3 to tie the game near the end of regulation. It just kills me to see Kobe get another ring because he really makes my blood boil.
I havent caught any of the series cos I dont have cable anymore...But just wanted to say welcome back Short. And say what you want about Kobe, the dude has skills...
