Rockets-Lakers
Wow guys, I get to go to the Rockets vs Lakers playoff game today. This'll be my first ever NBA playoff game to go to, pretty neat. The Rockets have every chance to beat the Lakers in the First Round. During the regular season we split the series at 2-2. We lost Game One on a Kobe airball (which Shaq caught and slammed home) and got domingated in Game Two. So already, it should have been 1-1. But the Rockets did so well Friday night and dd everything right, winning that game in the end. With only I believe three road teams having won this playoffs, I feel pretty confident that Houston can go 2-2 against LA again. Honestly, I think as long as we win the next game in Los Angelos, we can finish them here at home. :bigdrool:

Oh! That brings up a perfect topic! I know Shaw is good, but HOW good is he? To me, all I see Shaq as is a huge body (biggest in the NBA) who muscles his way in the paint and shoots the high accuracy shots. I mean, if you get anybody the size as him and threw him against scrawny Centers or Power Forwards, they could do the same thing. Granted, it takes time to learn a good hook shot, but a large majority of his shots are merely just lay ups or dunks. I don't think he is "great" because of this. He'll be "great" to me the day he makes jumpers from 10-15 feet from the basket or from the baseline.

Ha, that's my look on it exactly. But, it doesn't change the fact that he's dominant. There's other big centers, why can't they do it? Shaq is just strong and muscles in there, and that makes him great because he can take control of the game.
