Like the WRs and QBs could talk about throws and routes and actually kind of pick your go to play as a WR, even though you dont pick the play. On third down or when you need a score the AI chooses the play you discussed perviosly. The same could be done with HBs and QBs, as well as the offensive line. The co-op mode i think could be taken to a new level (on pc) if they made it so you could run the game off two monitors. So you would have each player have their own monitor as their screen. With this being said it would be soo awsome to be able to play with your sibilings or friends. The thing my bro and i have discussed is how crazy it would be if we could create two superstars for the hall of fame mode. (like say one WR and one QB) and then play like this in co-op mode. I think this would take the game to new levels. The other thing they need to add into Superstar mode is your say in what direction the franchise goes in. Like once you establish your self as the teams star player, come draft time and free agent signing you should be able to push the team in certain directions, like I was Vick on my team type thing. Sway the team into picking your "NFL Buddies". If they increased the relationships between the players and made you actually have a say in who gets re-signed/traded and cut you would have a whole new depth to the game.
