Cashpath makes a good point. CPU teams don't have training camp drills. So they should just automatically have some players progress and regress during the offseason by 1-3 points depending on their age and stats during the season. This would also help the CPU keep pace with the User. But it's not just the lack of training camps, the players just don't improve enough. For example, there was a linebacker on the Dallas Cowboys who had like 110 tackles, 12 sacks and 4 INTs. He was second in league MVP voting. I went to look at this player's attributes and he was only rated like 83. How the hell is a guy 2nd in MVP voting and rated 83? THis was towards the end of the season too, so he had lots of time to progress. If a guy is playing so well that he is up for league MVP, then he should improve until he hits at least 90 overall. Not only that, but the next season this guy was second on the depth chart behind their other MLB. IF a guy is that good, he should obviously be starting. But the reason he isn't starting is that the CPU doesn't recognize him as being really good, because he's not rated very high. It's kind of like a cycle that prevents players from improving.
