Defensive focus

I would like to be able to do an In-Game defensive focus where you tell your D what to look for before the snap. Here are the options

1)Defend run
2)Defend pass
3)Defend play-action pass
4)QB contain

1) is self explanatory. For (2) you would have to select a receiver (WR,TE, HB or even FB). Then your defense (when in zone) would drift towards that receiver to better defend against him. (3) picking this focus would make your team less susceptible to "biting" on the run fake. Of course, they would not defend the run as well, mainly in zone defense. QB contain would put the D-line/Linebackers in less of a pass rush and instead try to take away running lanes.

I think the Focus would be a good idea because I hate when you kind of know what the offense is going to do, but you can't do much to stop it. Especially play-action. This is also more realistic, because coaches always give the D an idea of what to look for on the next play.

I also think this would be a good idea between games in order to stop a really powerful offensive player or gameplan. Maybe between weeks, you could get plays to practice or drills to run to defend against certain aspects of the offense. I think the between game focus should have these options:

1)Defend Run
2)Defend Short Pass
3)Defend Long Pass
4)Attack QB
5)Contain QB
