I have stated it many times before how EA's football games have large speed ranges for players. 95-99(fastest), 90-94, 85-89, 80-84, etc... This means 90 speed is the same as 94 and 95 is the same as 99. I want EA to change this in both NCAA and Madden. I would like to see new smaller ranges of speed, like 98-99(fastest), 96-97, 94-95, 92-93, etc..., this would enable greater speed differences between say RB and DL for better run plays like read cutbacks, sweeps, and toss plays. Also, a speedy WR could outrun DL and LB on end-arounds and reverses, currently they get caught in the backfield everytime.

Right now, the fastest range players are 1 yard faster after 30 yards than the 2nd fastest range, and this same difference of 1 yard slower continues down the ranges. 95+ speed Human vs. 80 speed CPU on All Madden (+15 speed) is the same speed that is why I won't ever play Heisman or All-Madden. My proposed changes to the speed ranges would be a 1/2 yard difference after 30 yards so 98+ speed Human vs. 80 speed CPU (really 95 on All Madden) would result in the 98+ speed guy being 1 yard faster than that 80 speed CPU guy.

How many of you are pissed off like I am that 99 speed is only 1 yard faster after 30 yards than 90 speed, with my speed ranges 99 would have a 2 yard lead after 30. Currently a 2 yard difference after 30 can be seen with 95+ vs. 85-89 speed. Increasing the speed differences would allow the fastest players in the game (mostly WR's and CB's) to truly be the fastest players on the field. Also, have acceleration mean something please. A 95 speed 95 acceleration guy runs the same 40 time as a 95 speed 80 Acceleration guy. Have acceleration mean quickness, the ability to get to your top speed quicker.

If you don't believe me use practice mode (offense only) and test it. I am sick and tired of reading posts where people say I need to get more 99 speed WR's, despite the fact they already have a couple 95 speed WR's on their team. They are the same speed, can't anybody else see this. Sorry about the vent, but like I said, "I am pissed off". All I want is EA to listen and know that we demand new speed ranges for both of EA's football games.
