i think they were both foolish...you shouldnt break your word and you shouldnt rely on someones word in a proffesional sport, i mean come on...nothing is agreed in a sports world unless its on paper. it would be different if i gave my friend my word that i would go and play football with him, and then didnt and went with some other guy. but in the sports world things are different...i dont necessarily agree but hey thats the way it is.
