Carlos Boozer
I'm suprised no one brought this up for discussion:
Quick overview if you don't know.
Boozer was selected in the second round by the Cavs. He had an option for this year at like 700k which the team could pick up but he begged them not to so they can resign him. He made a verbal agreement about wanting to stay in Cleveland. They didn't pick up his option making him a restricted free agent so they can sign them to the middle level exception (the most they could offer him), then Utah offers him like 27 mil more over the course of the contract (like 6 years) and he signs an offer sheet with them, completely burning the Cavs. Utah frontloads the contract and give a big bonus so Cleveland has no chance of matching the offer (since they are only 2.5mil under the cap) and now his agent resigns
