Training Camp Incomplete

I love the idea of having a training camp. A perfect way to train prospect players and eventually become starting material. But, is this EA's idea of a complete training camp?

Whatever happened to improving pass and run blocking?

Fullbacks, Tight Ends and even Receivers can benefit from improved blocking. When you draft rookie coming out of college they ussualy have low run & pass blocking (and even some O-linemen) and yet there is no camp for this. If you can improve receivers to block better the chances of your running back breaking a long one greatly increases. Often times I see receivers going for a block and easily get shoved out of the way.

Whatever happened to Offensive awarness?

Sure, we can improve defensive awarness via "LB Chase & Tackle", but why can't an offensive player improve awarness? This is a big reason why defensive players progress faster and why offensive players (primarily running backs) gain 2.5 yards a carry and QB's throw more INT's then TD's.

Whatever happened to improving INJ and Toughness?

Players in the NFL goto workouts and train during the off-season to decrease the chances of getting injured. I have 3 running backs and their injury rating is less then 50. Don't ask me how to implement this -- I don't know. But it would be a nice addition to see.

Whatever happened to speed attributes?

Ever since I started playing Madden I've never witness a player increase their speed. What so? Players can increase their speed... Not asking for much, 1 or 2 points. I understand they can't jump from 80 speed to 87 but 1..2..maybe 3 points. There are drills that improve speed and also exercises, yet, when a player is drafted with 90 speed he stays that speed until he gets injured and loses 1 or 2 points.

I find Training Camp to be a very useful tool. This is only the first year that the training camp has be implemented and hopefully it will return next year with more drills.
