NY GIANTS press conference. 24th June.

Mr.Billster is entering the conference room. He seems to be very pleased and smiles a lot... He is welcoming the journalists and sits down...

Mr.Billster: Hello everybody, nice to meet you again. Lets start this interview.

Sports Weekly: Mr.Billster, your team performed increddibly good against the Vikes. Congrats for this remarkable win. How was that possible?

Mr.Billster: Well, first of all i wanna say "thank you" to my players. They played stout-hearted and showed great concentration for the game. The win was absolutely deserved and made me really proud. I think, where there's a will there's always a way and we had a iron will to win this game. It was the turning-point of this season. We knew that we had to win this game to let our playoff chances still beeing alive. We played hard, we played smart, we played good!!

New York Times: You are really enthusiastic about this win and the future suddenly looks brighter again, but how is this bad start in the beginng explicable?

Mr.Billster: I still dont know why we had this lethargic start after the first win in the first game. We lost 4 in a row and everybody paniced in the city. But i still believed that we have playoff changes and a playoff caliber team if we can start winning. And we started winning now. This team had 3 main problems which caused the loses. The first two problem were in the offense itself. We were unable to establish the run though we have one of the best RB's in this game and have one of the best O-lines in this game. That was really strange and i almost despired on this inability to run the ball and work the clock. The other main problem was Tom (Brady). He performed poorly and still wanted to force the ball to places where they never ever would be catched by our Receivers. He wanted to much control of the game and made sometimes very bad decisions in his hurry-scurry. He did some mistake that hurt us heavily and earned us some defeats. I said "rush, rush, rush" to LT but Tom understood always "pass, pass, pass". That wasnt wise. I now solved this problem in this way that i told Tom that he should involve LT much more in the offensive game. I told Tom to let LT rush, if Tom isnt sure how to handle the next down and if he feels uncomfortable in that specific moment. I told him that i dont expect miracle-like throws from him. I think Tom has understood now, that i hasnt to win the games all by himself for us. And after Tom understand what i wanted the production of LT raised too. At the moment we have a great balance between the passing and rushing game.

Sports Illustrated: That sounds really good for the next matchups, your next game is against the Jets. What do you feel before this game between two New York teams?

Mr.Billster: Hmmh, it will be difficult now. The Jets are unpredictible and a serious opponent. We will make a good game if we want to win but iam very confident that we will be the winning team. Since today all the preparations for the Jets game are started and everybody in my team nows that this is the decisive game of the season whether we still in the playoff race or not. We will be well prepared for this matchup and will again show our iron-will to win!

New York Post: Mr.Billster, your contract expires at the end of this season, will you stay in New York? What about the Bills?

Mr.Billster: Well, i cant say anything about this issue. My contract expires, that is right, but it is much to early to make and predictions where i will do my job next season. And besides, the Bills have a good man running the job nicely, they dont need me.

Mr.Billster: Okay, lets finish this at this points. Thank you all for joining this interview and i hope we will meet after the next two machtes here again. Have a nice time, folks...

Mr.Billster leaves the room slowly while whispering "New York, New York" from Frank Sinatra...

What it means to be a Bill...said by Fred Smerlas...
I have nothing but good memories of playing for the Bills. It's something I cherish. When I was playing for the Pats, I'd wear a Bills T-shirt under my uniform. Someone came up to me one day and said, 'Fred, no matter what you wear on the outside, you,ll always be a Buffalo Bill on the inside.'
