As far as the eagles this question is one I should be pretty good at. I know the NFC EAST as a cowboys fan.

It's hard to give a deffinate answer here though because I'm not sure what you mean by "that bad".

Are they so bad that they would be 0-2 no matter what? No.. Are they so bad that is was a given that Tampa and New England would smack them around? No...

Are they bad enough that Tampa and New England have every right to beat them.. YES..

The eagles just got stupid in the offseason. They let Hugh Douglas go which a bigger loss than they thought it would be, and losing mitchell is no small thing either.

Then they have the Duce hold out all Training camp. And McNabb seems to have fallen out of bed and hit his head. Or something.

Now this is still a team that can take the second place spot in thier division and maybe a wildcard, but it won't be handed to them.


Simply put they are not the 'possible super bowl team' a lot of "experts" thought they were, and the redskins and cowboys won't be 4 easy victories for them this year either so they get to fight and scrap to try to get a playoff spot this year.
