this is my gameplan if there is 3 min. quarters...

i will select to kick off every time...my opponet at best will score...im down 7-0...i will then take the ball, and proceed to run off the rest of the half, ending with at the very worst, a FG...i will then get the ball at halftime, and proceed to not let my opponet touch the ball the whole half, running the ball, throwing short passes, and eating the clock, scoring a TD if i had to kick a FG earlier, or i will kick a FG, if i scored a TD earlier.

how much fun will it be for my opponet only to touch the ball once at the beggining of the game?

i would win by default, as long as i keep my 2 drives going, and work the clock.

hey, dude with the rams...ive got a couple good LOLB's, that are both fast...clint ingram is rated a high 70s or low 80s with 85+ speed, and i dont really need him...he should be a starter, but hes a backup....i like carriker at DT, because i need a guy with some speed at DT, cuz i already got my run plugger (jon henderson)

im the jags, btw.

carriker is prolly rated a few points higher than ingram, but we could work something out...id even through in one of my DT's to make up for it.

madden tourney only do 3 min. quarter to weed out the bad players...every one i do, has 3 min. qts for the first couple of rounds, and then switches to 5 min.

3 min. is completly unrealistic, and the stats wouldnt even resemble an NFL game.

and with the way you can work the offense on 09, the situation i described above will happen often.

basically, one turnover, and your chances of winning the game are bleek at best.

with 5 min. quaters, you can come back from a turnover, or a couple bad possesions...not with 3 min quarters.

LOLB - Clint ingram (high 70s or low 80s with 85 speed...dont need that good of a backup at LOLB)

hey grog...i like donnie avery at WR, adam carriker at DT, tye hill and your other fast, low rated (70s) cbs.

i see you have a hole at RE, i could offer you reggie hayward (86)...he would help stop the run...carriker (89) and hayward (86) are pretty close points wise, and the trade would help both of us.

you prolly wont want to come up off of avery or hill though, huh?
