On PS3:
Go to My Madden, Rosters, Player Management. Either go to the Hall of Fame Players or NFL Greats.
Then go to Brett Favre, release him from there and put him on the Jets. (Unless you want to put him on another team, aside the Jets??)

By the way, it will make him a 38yr old rookie...just found this out.
