especially considering that prescription drugs, alcohol and tobacco are much worse for your health than Marijuana.

I don't think non-violent victimless crimes should have prison sentences attached.

Being in Texas that isn't a popular view. These Texans want executions for candy bar thievery, at least twice. Also, they like executing as many mentally retarded juveniles as possible.

I.E. he had not yet crushed the rock into powder for snorting purposes. Adding crack in front of it associates a more negative connotation than simply saying cocaine.
