Wow, I didn't realize the release would be so far away. They said they started work on StarCraft II right after Warcraft III: Frozen Throne which is roughly three or so years ago. I was thinking earlier 2008, honestly. Of course, as Yoda mentioned, Blizzard delays games to make sure they get it right - so it may not even come out until early 2009.
