How To Make Madden 08' Better

Although Madden is a good game it does have it's flaws like any other game. I've compiled a list of my ten biggest problems that I have with game. If you feel like I've missed some key points just feel free to add them in your own list below.

1. GANG TACKLING. That has to be the games biggest flaw, Only one player can tackle at a time and if another player tries it does absolutely nothing. Every single tackle is a solo tackle making the game seem unrealistic and outdated.

2. D-line Movements. When you switch coverages or linebackers to cover an unmaned guy (a+right) your d-line does the opposite of whatever you tell it to do. This makes the game very confusing and frustrates me to no end.

3. Ground. In the NFL they have multi-million dollar turf specially designed so it won't be succeptible to typical wear and tear. Obviously the makers of Madden didn't realize that because the ground gets warped by the slightest touch. I'm not sure if it slows down the speed of the players or not but I do know it looks like crap.

4. Fantasy Draft. Whatever happened to the fantasy draft, that was one of my favorite aspects of the game. Once you were done playing around with your team's franchise you could create your own custom team specifically catered to your strengths. Whoever thought taking that out was a good idea should probably be fired.

5. Playmaker Control. I can understand why they got rid of this (it conflicts with the new QB vision) but still it was a nice tool to have. Whenever your play would break down you could always call someone over to get some extra help but that's no more. Although I hate to see it go i have to admit, QB vision does make the game more realistic and fair.

6. Training. At first I thought the new training feature was kind of cool. It was something new and exciting that could help make my players better but after a while it got annoying. I felt like I had to use it to make my players better and it wasted a lot of my time. This was a feature I could have done without.

7. Hall of Fame Players. It's really lame how aquiring hall of fame players messes up your franchise. It really ticks me off how these players are just magically inserted into your franchise even if your in the middle of one. It gives either you or the computer an unfair advantage and makes the game tedious and boring.

8. Attributes. Correct me if I'm wrong but Reggie Bush being an 87 overall as a rookie seems a little ridiculous. Every team has it's own "Reggie Bush" thats way better than they should be. Let's get real Leonard Pope was drafted in the 3rd round he is not an 82.

9. Choosing Play. Picking your play has become a mind game in itself. It's already hard enough to come up with a good game plan without having to pretend to call plays. It didn't work for Blitz so why would it work for Madden?

10. Interceptions. Either I'm one of the greatest players in the world at playing DB or there is something wrong. All you have to do to get extra picks is get their offense into hurry up where they run 4 wr's then play dime spread out your d-line and your almost guarunteed a pick. Playing the computer has never been easier.
